Geomancy - Land Healing

Most Westerners have all but forgotten their connection to the land and the cosmos, though it lives on in our mythology, folklore and esoteric traditions. Geomancy is the art of analysing the subtle energies of nature that ebb and flow throughout the landscape. Scientists call these subtle energies electro-magnetic or telluric currents (from the Latin tellus, ‘earth’). Geomancers believe the way we feel and behave is greatly affected by our environment and physical surroundings. After all, scientific studies have shown that our bodies are simply molecules in a state of vibration and our thoughts and feelings emit electro-magnetic frequencies. When the body is ill, the crystalline structure of our DNA can actually become deformed. Placing the body in an environment filled with natural harmonics, magnetism and sound helps our DNA revert to its natural and harmonic geometry, leading to profound healing.

What is Geomancy really?

I’m pretty sure everyone has heard of Feug Shui and it’s use in the home and office but I’m also pretty sure most people haven’t heard of Geomancy.

In the most simplest terms Geomancy deals with the energy within our earth. Over hundreds of millions of years our earth has shifted, changed, carried thousands of animals and human civilisations and collectively absorbed all the energy associated with all the occurrences on earth. We have tectonic plates, hugely connected ley lines, powerful centres of healing energy plus much much more. It is all energy that affects our own human energy where ever we might go, be or live.

When this energy is out of alignment it can affect our bodies greatly. A geomancy session can lift the vibration of the land, house or business, by clearing stale memories as far back as needed, bringing clarity, safety and a feeling of being home.

Using ancient techniques in a modern way, with the assistance of Roz Tilleys Sacred 8 “Tree of Life”  and “Elemental” vibrational essence, negative energies can be cleared.

Yes, hard to fathom but as I always like to say – Just because you can’t see something, doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist. There was no atom until they invented a machine to see the atom!

Land Poem - This poem was written whilst sitting in the forest at my property. It was inspired by my increasing awareness of all the activity that happens in nature. Every single photo is from within the forest. Sometimes its all we need to do to reconnect to the land. Watch, listen, smell, feel and just be.

Do you ever think about that garden forest,
Where you liked to hide?
What it would have been like,
To be fairy size…

Towering bracken, gigantic mushrooms,
Leaves bigger than your fist.
Oh a drop of rain, a dash of dirt,
Pollen floating in the air,
Like dancing mist.

What would you make of those tiny ants,
That are now as big as a horse.
Or that slimy snail,
You could throw a saddle on,
To ride in due course.

Moss to lie on, soft as felt,
Hidden wings with eyes.
Dancing dewdrops, crystal trails,
With no endings or goodbyes.

Cavernous caves you dare not explore,
For fear of furry monsters.
Orange dirt mounds so big and solid,
It’s enough to cause a fluster.

A downfall of rain like a torrent,
An opportunity not to miss.
Jump on a leaf, let’s go for a ride.
Joyful thrills just like a sunshine kiss.

Sun going down now,
Moonbeams arrive,
Time for rest,
From joyful rides.
More adventures await,

But not for today.
Lie down now, listen to the night.
A new day is not far away…
